Community forums

Contents

Community forums are meetings which bring residents, councils and developers together to raise issues and discuss how the developments are moving forward.

There are community forums for:

  • Cambridge East - Marleigh, Springstead Village, Cambridge East (airport site)
  • North West and West Cambridge - Eddington, Darwin Green, West Cambridge
  • Northeast Cambridge

They are open to everyone and usually meet three times a year. As many of the sites straddle the local authority boundary, Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council take turns to organise and host these meetings.

When ‘in-person’, the format usually involves an informal drop-in session, followed by a more formal meeting.

Occasionally, virtual meetings are held instead via Microsoft Teams, details of which can be found below. You can download the Teams app or use the Chrome or Edge browsers to join the meetings. Teams does not currently support Safari or Firefox.

You can find information about Northeast Cambridge Community Forum on the South Cambridgeshire District Council website.
