Invigorate programme activities

Contents:

All sessions are free to attend unless otherwise stated. Friends, family members or support workers can join the sessions too – they must pay the same as you do, if there is a charge.

If you need to reserve a place on a session, follow the link to do so online.

You can also watch pre-recorded exercise sessions online. We offer a range of home-based programmes that you can work through at your own pace.

Some sessions are cheaper if you have a Better pay as you go card. The card costs £15.50, or £6 if you qualify for a concessionary card. You can buy a card at the Abbey Leisure Complex, Cherry Hinton Village Centre or Parkside Pools, or register for a Better account online.

Badminton

‘Bat and chat’ – badminton, pickleball and table tennis

An hour of sport followed by a social session with free tea or coffee from 1pm. The emphasis is on having a go, not on competition.

  • Mondays, midday to 1.30pm at Cherry Hinton Village Centre
  • £4 per session, or £2.50 if you have a Better pay as you go card
  • Turn up and play or register for a Better account to book online

Football

For Invigorate members only.

Mental health community swim

Join the volunteers from Mental Health Swims for a monthly dip in Jesus Green Lido.

This community swim has an emphasis on 'dips not distance' and is a great introduction for anybody who wishes to try cold water swimming in a safe, group setting.

Facilitated by volunteers, this session does not provide swimming instruction and you must be able to swim to take part.
