2025 election results

A neighbourhood planning referendum took place on Thursday 16 January, for some electors in the South Newnham area.

On Thursday 1 May 2025, elections will be held in Cambridge to elect the Mayor for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, as well as 12 Councillors to Cambridgeshire County Council.

2024 election results

Elections took place in Cambridge on 2 May 2024 for the Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner and 14 of the 42 seats on Cambridge City Council.

A Parliamentary general election took place on Thursday 4 July.

A by-election for a seat on the city council for Romsey ward took place on 12 September 2024.

2023 election results

Scheduled elections were held for 14 of the 42 seats on Cambridge City Council on Thursday 4 May 2023. A further two seats were elected in Castle and Coleridge wards, following resignations. A by-election was also held for a county councillor for the Arbury division.

A by-election for a city councillor was held in King’s Hedges ward on 4 July. Another took place in Queen Edith’s ward on 23 November.

2020 election results

The elections for Cambridge City Council and the Police and Crime Commissioner that were scheduled for 7 May 2020 were postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. They were held in May 2021.
