Changes in your circumstances
Tell us about any changes in your circumstances within seven days. Failure to tell us could have an impact on your taxi driver’s licence. Read more about this in our hackney carriage and private hire handbook.
If you move home or change your name, phone us to tell us. We will take payment for your new licence during the call. You must pay a fee for each licence that you are named on.
Contact us by email to tell us about any other changes, including if:
- you change your phone number or email address
- your medical condition changes
- any changes or convictions are added to your DVLA licence
- you are investigated for any criminal offence, whether you are charged or not
Replacement driver licences and badges
You can apply for a replacement licence or driver’s badge on our licensing portal.
You need an account to use the portal – you must register if you do not have one. Read our licensing portal guidance to learn how to use the portal, and contact us if you have any problems using it.
Replacement vehicle licences and plates
Phone us if you need a new vehicle licence or plates. We will take payment during the call.
