Our crematorium on Huntingdon Road is a peaceful venue for faith-based or secular funerals.

It has two chapels, a large garden area where you can install a memorial to a loved one, and a variety of gardens and woodland in which to scatter ashes. Huntingdon Road Cemetery is nearby.

The gardens are open all the time. Our office is open from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. The car park has space for more than 100 cars.

Fun Things to Do When You Are Dead festival

Join us at the ‘Fun Things to Do When You Are Dead’ festival at the crematorium on Saturday 11 May.

There will be activities, art, games and interaction about death and dying from midday to 5pm.

The event is presented by Dying for Life – find out more about the event on their website:

The chapels

Both of our chapels have an organ and a music system, giving you the choice of live or recorded music during a service. We can make an audio or video recording of your service, and stream it live online.

The East Chapel can seat about 55 people. It has easy access throughout for wheelchair and mobility aid users.

The West Chapel can seat about 190 people, some in a balcony area overlooking the main room. The chapel has a screen that can display photos or videos during your service.

The chapels are both fitted with an induction loop system. Both have a waiting room with a vending machine.
