Residents, local organisations and community groups are invited to come together to join the conversation on the future of north Cambridge.

Building on the conversations that have taken place through the Framework for Change for North Cambridge and ongoing engagement with residents about regeneration and investment in the area, there are a number of upcoming events taking place before the consultation launches at the end of October. The events below are all open to everyone unless stated otherwise:

• 7 October, 3.30 to 5pm: Community drop-in and Arbury Social food - see below
• 7 October, 5.15 to 6.45pm: North Cambridge conversations - see below
• 13 October, 4 to 5pm: Community Panel, Meadows Community Centre (for community panel members only)
• 13 October, 5.30 to 6.30pm: Traders Meeting, Meadows Community Centre (for Arbury Court traders only) 
• 19 October, 3 to 4pm: Meeting for Arbury Court residents, Church of the Good Shepherd
• 19 October, 4.30 to 6pm: Meeting for Kingsway residents, Church of the Good Shepherd

7 October events

Taking place at Meadows Community Centre, 299 Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2JL

3.30pm to 5pm: Community drop-in and Arbury Social food

Drop in at any time to explore what's happening across North Cambridge. Local services, community groups, neighbourhood projects and council teams will be on hand to share information, answer questions and highlight opportunities to get involved.

You will also be able to enjoy free refreshments and delicious food provided by Arbury Social, the new community café at the Meadows Community Centre run by Cambridge Sustainable Food, while chatting informally with local organisations and neighbours. 

Whether you're looking for activities, support services, volunteering opportunities, community-led groups or information about investment programmes in the area, there will be plenty to discover.

5.15pm to 6.45pm: North Cambridge conversations

Residents are invited to stay for a series of presentations and discussions exploring some of the key projects and developments taking place in North Cambridge.

This will include opportunities to learn more about ongoing regeneration and redevelopment proposals, including updates on resident engagement relating to Arbury Court, as well as other initiatives shaping the future of the area.

The session will offer a chance to hear directly from project teams, ask questions and contribute to conversations about the future of North Cambridge.

Whether you're interested in local developments, want to find out more about services and activities in your community, are looking for ways to get involved, or simply want to meet others and enjoy some good food, we'd love to see you there.
