Off-street parking
We manage 10 car parks in Cambridge – five multi-storey and five ‘street-level’ car parks. Cambridgeshire County Council manages the Park & Ride bus service.
Our map of car parks shows where they are. Many of them are accredited by Park Mark, so you know you can park there safely.
Each car park has its own tariff of charges. Check the individual car park pages for full details of prices, opening times, height restrictions and more.
We manage our car parks according to our off-street parking orders.
Blue Badge parking
If you have a Blue Badge you can park for free for up to three hours in our car parks – normal parking charges apply after this period.
Visit the government website to find out more about the Blue badge scheme. Visit the county council website to renew or apply for a Blue Badge.
Peak-time tariff
We operate a peak-time parking tariff in our multi-storey car parks. We do this to encourage using public transport, cycling or walking. It also aims to encourage visiting at less busy periods of the day. Queen Anne Terrace car park is the cheapest multi-storey car park to stay in.
Electric vehicle charging points
We are installing electric vehicle charging points at some car parks.
Motorcycle parking
You can park your motorcycle on the ground floor of Queen Anne Terrace car park. These spaces are free to use.
CCTV cameras
We have installed CCTV cameras in certain locations. We can only release CCTV images to the police or your insurance company.
Lost property
We keep lost property found in our car parks at the control room on level −1 of Grand Arcade car park.
On-street parking
Cambridgeshire County Council manages on-street parking, including on-street motorcycle parking bays.
They are also responsible for issuing parking fines and city-centre access permits.
We can issue residents’ parking permits for some locations. Most resident parking schemes are managed by the county council.
