Park Street car park is a multi-storey car park close to the city centre, colleges and the river. It has been awarded Park Mark status.

- Open Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day
- Short-stay pay-on-foot car park – you cannot reserve a space in advance
- Pay with cash, card or mobile payments including Android Pay and Apple Pay
- Height limit: 2.1 metres (6 feet 10 inches)
- Free motorcycle parking on ground floor
- Lift in operation 24 hours a day
Charges
An ‘off-peak’ tariff applies unless you arrive during the ‘peak-time’ tariff hours. It’s free to park here in the evening and overnight.
If your stay extends across more than one tariff’s hours , the applicable tariffs for your stay will be added together. The cost of your ticket will reflect the days, time and number of hours you park for. The payment machine will calculate the price when you leave.
You can pay by card, Android Pay or Apple Pay at the payment machines or at the exit. You can pay with cash at the payment machine but not at the exit.
Blue Badge holders can claim three hours’ free parking. The standard tariff will apply after the free hours. You must scan your badge when you pay – the machine will reduce the cost of your stay when you pay.

If you lose your ticket, we will charge you from 8am on the day you entered the car park.
Off-peak tariff
The off-peak tariff applies between:
- 8am and 6pm on weekdays and Saturdays
- 10am and 6pm on Sundays
If you arrive during the peak-time tariff hours listed below, that tariff will apply instead.

We introduced the tariff to encourage you to come into Cambridge using other methods of travel. It also aims to encourage visiting at less busy periods of the day.

Evening and overnight parking
It’s free to park here in the evenings and overnight between 6pm until the start of the next daytime tariff.
