The following applications were considered at the meeting of Cambridge City Council’s Planning Committee, held on Wednesday 1 April 2026 at the Guildhall, Cambridge. 

• To knock down the commercial greenhouse at 80 and 82 Lovell Road, Kings Hedges and build a one and half storey, four-bed, self-build house.
  Applicant: Mr Daniel Austin 
  Decision: Approved 

•  To build a car port to the front of 2 Elder Close, Kings Hedges.
  Applicant: Mr Mark Taylor 
  Decision: Approved 

•  To make changes to planning permission 24/00973/FUL (to knock down the garages at 33 Paget Road, Trumpington and build four three-bed houses) to the car and cycle parking layout, relocate the bin store and the H bar marking across the entrance.
  Applicant: Oluwaseun Obafaiye - Cambridge City Council 
  Decision: Approved
