Cambridge Folk Festival will return from 27 to 30 July 2023 in the grounds of Cherry Hinton Hall.
The 2023 festival will offer internationally renowned headline artists, the best in folk and contemporary roots music from across the world, and the hottest newcomers.
The first line-up announcement will be made in the new year.
Alongside the world-class music, there is more to enjoy over the festival weekend, with children’s activities; workshops on instrument making and song writing; a silent disco; storytelling; clog dancing; juggling; tai-chi; and an incredible selection of mouth-watering food trucks and bars from some of Cambridge's finest food merchants.
“Year on year, it has evolved, staying relevant as the face of the genre has changed over the decades. Whether it’s classic folk or something more contemporary, the festival promises something for every folk fan.”
“Cambridge is a reminder of a kinder gentler time and, just for a weekend, we all returned to it.“ The Arts Desk
“A thoroughly good-natured event.” The Guardian
