Each year, the mayor chooses to champion and raise funds for two local charities.
Mayor Dinah Pounds has chosen to support the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust’s Neurotrauma programme and Cambridge Living Streets in 2025/26.
The Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust Neurotrauma programme helps improve the outcome and recovery of patients with brain injury from road accidents, falls, assaults and sport. The programme focuses on raising awareness and prevention, and as a city of cyclists we will benefit particularly from their work.
Cambridge Living Streets offers education and events to help people use walking as a form of transport and to enjoy walking our streets.
