We have a responsibility to ensure that local businesses adhere to the law regarding food and health and safety standards.
As part of this responsibility we produce an annual business regulation plan.
The plan details the activities we plan to undertake in the forthcoming year, and summarises what we did in the previous year. It reflects the statutory requirements we have as an enforcing authority, and details the other ways we support local businesses.
The production of the plan is a requirement by the Food Standards Agency and Health and Safety Executive.
