Result of City Council by-election in Queen Edith’s ward


A BY-ELECTION took place yesterday (23 November) to elect a new councillor for Cambridge City Council’s Queen Edith’s ward.

A casual vacancy in the ward was created following the resignation of former city councillor Sam Davies. The result of the by-election is as follows:

  • BLACKBURN-HORGAN, Immy Liberal Democrats, 745 votes
  • CARMONA, David Conservative Party, 454 votes
  • FISHER, Oliver Edward Green Party, 252 votes
  • RON, Thomas Labour Party, 678 votes

Spoiled papers: 5
Turnout: 32.3%

Immy Blackburn-Horgan was duly elected.
