The security barrier in front of King’s College on King’s Parade closes at 9.30am until 7pm every day. Driving and parking vehicles past it between these times is not allowed.

We manage the barrier with the county council. The police asked us to install it to enhance safety and security when the street is busiest.

There are provisions for allowing vehicles through the barrier in exceptional circumstances. This includes emergencies and events that cannot take place during the day.

• If you are trapped behind the closed barrier, phone us and we will arrange to let you out.
