Reception services for blind and visually impaired people

Man with guide dog

If you are blind or visually impaired we can give you assistance by:

  • providing you with information on the telephone or in person
  • producing large-print copies or computer disks of our publications
  • supplying audio tape, CD or braille copies of our information
  • assisting you with completing any of our forms
  • loaning equipment such as magnifying glasses while you are with us
  • assisting you with getting to the service that you need
  • giving your guide or assistance dog access to everywhere you need to go or, if you prefer, taking care of your dog whilst you enjoy the Corn Exchange.

Please note that audio-tapes and braille copies do take longer to provide as we do not make them ourselves.

Contact enquiries@cambridge.gov.uk for further information.
